Refund Policy
This covers the RestroBill mobile app for Android and iPhone, published by Codrva Digital. It sits alongside the Terms of Use, which govern the subscription itself.
The short version.
- We never take your money, so we cannot give it back. Google and Apple do.
- Request a refund from whichever store you bought through, using the links below.
- Installing and setting up is free, so you can see the app before you pay for it.
- Cancelling and refunding are different things. Cancelling stops the next charge.
1. Why we cannot refund you directly
RestroBill is sold only as an in-app subscription through Google Play and the Apple App Store. Both stores require it, and it means your payment goes to Google or Apple, never to Codrva Digital. We hold no card details and have no ability to reverse a charge we never received.
So a refund is always a request to the store, decided under that store's policy. What we can do, and will, is answer any question a store puts to us in support of your request, promptly and honestly.
2. How to request a refund
Google Play
- Open Google Play, Payments and subscriptions, or go to Google's refund request page.
- Find RestroBill and choose Report a problem.
- Say what happened. Google usually answers within a few days.
Apple App Store
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID that bought the subscription.
- Choose the RestroBill purchase, then Request a refund.
- Apple reviews it and replies by email.
Use the account that actually paid. A subscription belongs to a store account rather than to a phone, which is also why Restore purchases works when you change device.
3. Your statutory rights
Nothing here removes a right you have under the consumer law where you live. Depending on your country that may include a cooling off period for digital purchases, and in the United Kingdom and the European Union it may be reduced or waived once you agree to immediate access to digital content, which is how an app store subscription works. The stores apply those rules on our behalf, so exercising the right still means asking Google or Apple.
In India, nothing here limits rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
4. Cancelling is not the same as a refund
Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you already paid for runs out. It does not return money for the current period. If you want the current period back, that is a refund request under section 2.
Manage or cancel in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions, or in iOS Settings under your name, Subscriptions. There is a shortcut in the app under Settings, Subscription. Uninstalling the app does not cancel anything.
5. What happens to your data after a refund
Nothing is deleted. Your menu, your bills and your takings live in a database on your own device, not on a server of ours, so a refund does not touch them. Billing, printing, history and reports lock until there is an active subscription again, and everything you had is still there when you come back.
If you are leaving for good, export your bills to Excel first. See the Privacy Policy for what is stored and how to remove it.
6. Try before you pay
Installing RestroBill, setting up your restaurant, connecting a printer and building your whole menu are free, with no time limit. That exists so you can decide whether the app suits your counter before any money changes hands, which is a better outcome for both of us than a refund.
If you want a walkthrough on your own printer before subscribing, ask us and we will arrange one.
7. Contact
We cannot process a refund, but if something is wrong with the app we would rather hear it than not.
