Built for quick service: one person, one device, a queue in front of them. No tables to assign, no logins to hand out, no dashboard to learn.
Tap to bill
Your menu as a grid of buttons, grouped by category. Tap to add, adjust quantity in the cart, and add a one off item for anything not on the menu.
Prints to your printer
Any ESC/POS thermal printer over WiFi, LAN, Bluetooth or USB. 58mm and 80mm paper, with your logo and payment QR on every bill.
GST ready bills
Restaurant name, address, GSTIN and FSSAI in the header. Itemised lines, subtotal, GST at your rate and a running bill number.
Your menu, your order
Categories and items with prices and per item tax rates. Reorder to match how you sell, and deactivate seasonal dishes without losing their history.
History and reprint
Every bill stored on the device with the prices as they were that day. Search the log, open any bill and reprint it when a customer asks.

What you need
A phone or tablet
Android 8.0 or newer, or iOS 13 or newer. For a fixed counter an inexpensive 8 to 10 inch tablet is the comfortable choice.
An ESC/POS printer
58mm or 80mm thermal, connected over WiFi, LAN, Bluetooth or USB. There is a buying guide on the overview page.
Ten minutes to set up
Restaurant details, paper size, printer and menu. After that you are billing, and the internet can go down without stopping you.

Common questions
Is it really free to install?
Yes. Installing costs nothing, and so does setting up your restaurant, connecting a printer and building your whole menu. You only pay once you want to produce bills, print, view history or open reports.
Do I need to create a RestroBill account?
No. There is no signup and no password. The subscription is tied to the Google or Apple account you already use to install apps, which is why Restore Purchases works when you change device.
Can I try it before paying?
You can install and set everything up for free, which is enough to see whether the app suits how you work. Billing itself needs a subscription. If you want a walkthrough on your own printer first, ask us.
Will it work with the printer I already have?
If it speaks ESC/POS and connects over network, Bluetooth or USB, almost certainly. That covers most thermal receipt printers sold in India. There is a buying and compatibility guide if you are choosing one.
Does it need internet to work?
Not to bill or print. The app reaches the store occasionally to confirm the subscription and keeps working for two weeks between those checks, so a dropped connection never stops you serving a customer.
How big is the download?
Small enough for any modern phone, and it needs no companion app or desktop software. Your bills live on the device, so storage grows only with the bills you create.
Can I download the APK directly instead of using Google Play?
No, and this is a limitation rather than a preference. The subscription is verified through Google Play Billing, which a sideloaded APK cannot reach, so a direct download would install an app that could never be unlocked. On iPhone and iPad, Apple provides no consumer route to install outside the App Store at all. Both platforms have to come from their own store.

Android 8.0 Oreo and newer on phones and tablets, and iOS 13 and newer on iPhone and iPad. For a fixed counter an inexpensive 8 to 10 inch Android tablet is the comfortable choice, and it doubles as restaurant POS software without any desktop machine.
